 The MDP self-balancing horizontal multistage pump is a high-efficiency, high-pressure multistage centrifugal pump developed to accelerate the advancement of high-pressure pump technology and meet user demands. By integrating advanced international technologies with our extensive design experience, this pump is designed using hydraulic models recommended for high efficiency and energy savings and developed in compliance with API 610 standards. Key features include: Broad high-efficiency range; extensive performance adaptability; excellent cavitation performance, reducing operational issues; minimal wear components, leading to reduced maintenance; easy installation and maintenance, lowering operational downtime; reliability significantly enhanced, achieving a trouble-free runtime exceeding three times that of conventional pumps; reduced maintenance costs, significantly lowering the pump’s lifecycle cost. This high-pressure self-balancing segmented centrifugal pump introduces an innovative structural design by eliminating the axial thrust balancing mechanism found in traditional multistage centrifugal pumps. It serves as a replacement for D and DG series multistage pumps that rely on balancing disc or balancing drum mechanisms. The no-balancing-mechanism design eliminates balancing disc friction loss and balancing return flow loss, improving pump efficiency by 5-14% compared to similar multistage pumps. It also eliminates failures caused by balancing mechanism malfunctions, preventing issues such as balancing disc and seat wear or rotor seizure, thereby greatly extending the pump’s service life.
